Ok i have the old style Super apaxi AFC and i need to get it out of my car because im parting it out. Now i took the screen off and now there is a long wire that runs through out the center console....i took off the paneling and the wires go along into a box it seems or something and i cant figure out how to remove the wires...I dont want to just pull on them and break them... SO any help is much appreciated.

thanks

That box thing is the ECU. Unplug all the wires to make it easier to work with. If the AFC wires have been spliced, just undo the small metal clip, and remove the wire. If they have been soldered, and you have a soldering iron, melt the solder, and remove the wire. If you don't have an iron, cut the AFC wires as close as you can to the harness wires and wrap them up with electrcal tape. There should be two male and female connections; undo them, remove the AFC wires, then reconect the remaining male and female connections (the stock wires).
