Wow I can't belive this is stumping me, because I've changed the alterntor on this car before.

I'm putting the car back together after doing the timing belt, and I can't get the alternator back on.

Not sure if I am missing the right part or what.

First a drop it in an put that bottom bolt in; ok fine.

What part of the engine does the mounting bracket bolt to?

But when it comes to the bracket, the bolt from bracket to alternaotr, it's not going on. I am not sure wich bolt to use.

Anyone got alternator pics? Installed in a 1G, I searched.

You mean the tensioner on the alternator? The only thing that really "holds it in" is the bolt on the bottom that slides through.
