How to pull check engine codes on a 95 talon tsi i have owned 5 1g but no 2g and just wondering if you can pull the codes the same being obdII ? and i have searched......

You need an OBD2 scanner. They're available from autozone priced from $40-100, depending on what fancy features you want with it.

yeah i forgot about the pocket logger, i have a handspring visor already....... thanks

There are also some codes that are available via the "keydance."

You turn the ignition on, off, on, off, then on; and the check engine light will flash a sort of morse code that is translated via a repair manual. (only a few trouble codes are available this way, the exact procedure is stated in the repair manual. [at least it is in my haynes])

EDIT: Without the clutch depressed. Don't rapidly start and stop your engine. I had to put this in here because I knew somebody would try it.
