how to pull a 4g63 out

i have a 95 talon tsi awd that im pulling the motor to put new crankshaft in. it is a 6 bolt swap and 5speed tranny. i have every thing unbolted and ready to pull but dont know if i have to pull tranny to or can i just pull motor
