[RESOLVED] How To Tell 420a from 4g63?

How can I tell which type of engine I have? I have a 1995 Eagle Talon ESI...

Some European 2gs came with a 4g63 isntead of a 420a. So it is possible.

member bashing here huh... I used to be at a point where i didn't know either... like all of us so shut it.

the 4g63 Turbo or non turbo engine has its timing belt cover on the right side, and the 420a on the left.

first pic is a 4g63 second a 420a

either way like mentioned above your car should have a 420a because it is the Esi! same with Mitsubishi's Eclipse RS & GS

I personally have not seen 1 Eagle talon esi with an 4g63 in europe, yet have seen many eclipses.
