during cold start the car doesnt smoke, untill it is warmed up then alot of blue smoke come's from the exhaust. when i drive the car for a while then stop at idle it smoke's ALOT especially after hard boosting. the oil return line looks horrible and leaks oil & im pretty sure the turbo seals is shot. when the car is in motion the car doesnt smoke at all or when i get on it, only when i go to a complete stop it smokes, smokes even more if at idle after hard boosting. what does this sound like it could be? im going to get work done on the car just wanted to know what it can be before i start.

None of these symptoms is enough to make any sort of real diagnosis. Lot's of blow-by after hard acceleration can indicate bad valve seals. However, that is usually accompanied with blow-by on cold start-ups. It could be a bad turbo.

The only thing you can do at this point is a compression test, followed by a leak down.

Do a compression test. If it fails do a leakdown test. A leakdown test will show you if your rings are leaking. Id lean on your valve seals or turbo seals being shot. Does your dip stick pop out during boost?

sorry for the late response but i just picked up this 95 gs-t and no the dip stick doesnt come out, i also notice oil around the exhaust manifold

Because, that blue smoke you see, is the oil burning off. We have two 2gN/T's in my town with bad vavle seals, and both smoke at idle. 420a's, especially high mileaged ones, I believe are bad for this.

Its you valve seals for sure. Oil is leaking out the manifold because as it drips down your exhaust valve it puddles in the exhaust port. You can replace them without removing your head but you will need a special spring compressor

No it wouldnt first rule out one thing turbo, or engine related is possibble to have a number of things that are bad, you never know until, you solve one problem.

How to tell if your rings are bad

Do a compression test. If the cylinder pressure is low, add a very small amount of oil in the spark plug hole and run the compression test again. If the compression jumps up, the rings are bad.
