Rule #5 posted above the reply box

Use proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation when posting in our Tech Forums - don't use texting/instant messaging lingo here. This isn't an English class, but we demand that you at least make an attempt or your posts will be deleted. Internet Explorer users should download IEspell or just use Firefox since it has spell check built-in.

Start spelling properly and using your shift key if you want any replys! Mods won't be as forgiving...

now i said sorry for the spelling but pleas dont disrespect me ok thanks but whats the boost leak test and checking the shaft play

the other trouble i have is taking off my pulys so i can get to my cam sensor when i try to screw it of the pulys move with it so screwing is point less

Here, I will spoon feed it to you:

Here comes the Airplane!

Boost leak test:
2G Turbo DSM Boost Leaks -How to test and fix

And for checking for turbo shaft play:
1. Remove the intake pipe from the Turbo
2. Stick you fingers in and grab the shaft
3. Wiggle it and feel how much it moves.
4. It should not move much, but there should be some play due to no oil on the bearings.

If it has excessive shaft play, 1/8" to 1/4" or more, you need to look for damaged fins and possibly remove and replace/rebuild the turbo.

Was that good?
