I think my boost is creeping bc I have an exhaust leak, and it's probably coming from somewhere near/at the flex section of the dp. I have a boost controller and I feel that my car should not be creeping like it is w/ just a 2.5 turboback w/ no cat and no other mods. It'll hit 10 where the controller is set at, then around 4.5-5K it'll creep to 15-16 and I haven't run it higher to see if it'll go up any more.
I'm gonna go by the exhaust shop, and if it is leaking out there, how necessary is it to have that flex portion of the dp?
Do these engine twist enough that they need to have it? I guess I could have a new flex section welded up, but I'd still like to know in case he doesn't have any at the shop by chance.
