how much power can a stock motor take

We have cams,bigger turbo,intake manifold,injectors and nos.
The car has gone [email protected]`s also a AWD.

id say the 400-500 range then i think youll toast the pistons either with to much boost or to much vavle float at higher revs... how much knock are you getting right now?

Thats cool that you have an awd GN but 11's is a little slow isnt it. WTF Fill out the vehicle profile and let us know what you are talking about. This is a dsm community, not a buick community.

Well we put together a 94 dsm.like I said it`s a awd with a shep trans.The short block is stock and the heads have a set of cams and springs.I `m just trying to figure out how much power a stock bottom end will take.
We went to e-town last weekend and had some small issues like a oil pump front seal popped out and one of the trans linkage came off.
On the Buick side 11`s is slow,mine goes alittle faster than 11`s.So I was talking about a dsm.

stock bottom ends can hold around 400hp on 4g63 motors. I wouldn't attempt to go around 500 with stock bottom end but theres probably some who have done it. but thats me.

I laugh at 400hp, my stock engine laughs at 400hp. There's guys out there making 500+ to the wheels on stock shortblocks. Look around.
