how much HP will basic stage 1 cams give me?

just need to know, cuz if they dont give me a substantial amount, i may as well get an AFC. i was thinking about buying BIGNBUMPIN's cams for 300.....but idk if it will be worth it, cuz i was going to run my car untuned untill i had money for the AFC, just need some opinions, thanx guys

I suggest get safc first. Without it you will see no gains and the car will most likely run like crap.

How can you say a car with no afc will not see gains with a set of cams?

Anyways, which cams are you referring to as "Stage 1"? I never understood the need for naming thing as stages. Just get a set of HKS cams 264 int/272 exhaust and be happy.

Heh, "Stages" are from GT3, and other games, and are eventually passed down through "street racer" lore as fact.

It's all arbitrary. Any company can call any of their products "Stage X" It's really dumb. I would want to laugh so hard if someone called up my shop looking for a "Stage 1 turbo", but I wouldn't, cause they'd be an easy sell for any overpriced kitschy car crap I had
