i have 800 whp whit almost stock gearbox with welded center diff,double Synchronous, and modified front diff bearings, she holds quite well . i have twin disc 7.25 and act FCV shift at 10000rpm

That's impressive! I've been around a few 650+ whp cars that lived for a while, but still broke eventually.

The failures that you will see are endurance limit failures. The harder you load a tooth the less times it will take it before a crack forms and it fails. So, more power means either more torque (higher loading) or higher RPM (more cycles).

I don't understand why people thing that things fail simply because of too much torque, or too much horsepower?

Fatigue, shock load, heat, fluid, weight of vehicle are just some factors in gear train longevity.

Launching would be a big factor in how much power it can handle. Autos can handle a ton of power, manuals not as much before component wear and failure. I have done hundreds of 2nd,3rd,4th pulls on my bone stock 5sp with unknown mileage. It still shifts fine, no pop outs or grinding. I have never launched it or atleast when i tried, it just spun the tire, not tireS , open diff. I could take a guess and say im at least 450whp. Logging 52lbs at times on e85. Mt/fwd. Couldnt guess torque: maybe 350? Idk, wild ass guess.
