Stock 4g63 how much hp?

How much can i boost with stock internals on a 4g63? To be safe not pushing it too much.

Cory @ STM, and the STM Crew hitting 500hp on stock 7bolt. Thats not to say everyone can hit that number, but it is possible.

I would hate for a newbie to find this and have such high expectations. not bench racing but when I can get my big 16g to 20+psi thats it, anything higher im getting a rebuild.

Uh, maybe on a completely stock 2G. Bone stock that is. Past that the T2small is working hard for no gain. Doesn't take much to max out.

Nah... about all that would happen is you run the risk of blowing out your intake manifold. But those are cheap from a junkyard so it's no big deal.

Why? I made 600+ whp on my stock 7-bolt. It's all in how you set the car up and how well it is tuned...hell I don't have half of what STM has at my immediate disposal. I built my car in a garage and reset the stock 7-bolt block record.

True. I drove the ever living piss out of that motor! Many 8500+ rpm shifts and it still lasted 40 passes at 35-40 psi boost. Calan hit the nail on the head.

You should be able to redline an engine thousands of times without a problem.

I don't consider enthusiastic driving, abuse. Limiters are to prevent damage, anything under that should be acceptable as long as you aren't maintaining 7k rpm for prolonged periods of time.
