I found a 99 gst stock that is said to run without problems but has a check engine light sometimes
Car has 169000 miles :-/... $3500 is it too much??? Should I buy?

Swapped titles for my truck straight up,homeboy liked my ranger so i made a deal with him. Car had sat up for 2 years, Motor was already rebuilt,back glass was broke,changed out both front cv axles,needed a brakelight switch and tires. It was red,painted it matte black. I say i got lucky on this deal.

I went to look @ it and bought it. 99 Gst BONE stock for $2900, though it has 168k it Was lady driven. It had a carseat in the back, check engine light was on, thats why i was able to bring the price down. After I bought it, i took off the spark plug cover and one of the wires was not fully Plugged it in tight. I reset codes and so far so good! Im loving it and i'll have a bit of money for precaution maintenance, as of now it drives nice!

Got my 1999 GS "10th Anniversary Edition" (Looks like a turbo) for $1500.

Odometer read 101,000 but the engine was new/rebuilt. Had aftermarket exhaust, cold air intake, and a short shifter (among other things). The front carpet was replaced and the headliner (purple) was new.

It was an overall good deal. Cosmetically sound save for a crack on the front bumper. Has a door ding now and I would still run down the person who did it if I as there when it happened.

Just had some rattling issues with the sunroof and a piece of plastic on the underside of the hatch. (Both of which I haven't got to fix yet.)

The previous owner had two Eclipses (2g and 4g, I think) that were extremely modded and very awesome. They were both destroyed in a storm, so he bought this one.

It's unbelievable how stupid cheap you guys find these cars. Most DSMs in my area are in the $2500-$4000 range with north of 130k miles, and those are the 1gs. Gives me hope I might find one of these deals.

2. 92 Eclipse GS manual -134k miles , write off vehicle that I was going to fix until I found it wasn't worth fixing $750
3. 92 Talon TSI AWD- unknown km, little rough shape and is the current project $0 free (just cost $350 and 4 hours to get it home)

Wish I'd have kept my first n/t truly a beautiful car even tho it was slow and auto.
