How much can i sell my 1g built auto tranny for?

I have a Built Auto Trans with Shift Kit, IPT 4000rpm Stall Torque Converter,Dual flexplates,4Bolt LSD rearend,Trans Cooler with 4k miles on it that i want to sell but dont not sure how much can i get for it what do you guys think?

Well, how much do you have in it??? Knock a few hundred bucks off of that, and sell it with a OBO...Go from there!

well i dont know how much the trans is worth itself i just rebuilt it with a stronger kit and added the other stuff to it.

It depends on what you want out of it (what would you like to get??) Stock autos go for $300, so $600 sounds like a good price!
Every thing you mentioned, $1300 OBO sounds good!

new ipt transmission would be $2975 which pretty much comes with this stuff already besides the ipt 4000rpm stall torque converter.

Well, I can tell you now that your not going to get that out of it!
I have $2800 in my shep stage4, and I will be lucky to get $1500 for it, but thats what I'm selling it for!

After seeing the prices for the parts, $800 sounds like a beter price!

Well, don't make a thread asking what you should sell it for! Put a price on it in the classifieds, and sit on it forever untill some dumb ass buys it!

Just separate it out, I couldn't tell if the trans was and IPT then with those parts but if it's a regular rebuild with those parts the price will differ.

You should be able to get $350 just for the converter, maybe more since it's low miles
A non IPT trans could be $600-800 alone if those parts are in it with 4k on them
Dual flexplates might snag $25+
4 Bolt LSD is the ? here

You'll make way more by selling it separately.

I seriously doubt anyone is going to pay near the $3000 asking price from IPT. With the market these days, you'd be lucky to get $3000 for your whole car with that stuff in it. I would also list the stuff serperately. I'd say the following is pretty reasonable (to me at least, just my 2 cents though).

$250 for the auto 4 bolt rear
$300 for the converter / dual flex plate setup
$900 for the auto trans

The second a part is installed, the price drops a LOT.

1 mile, 4k miles, 40k miles - it's used.

It was -20 outside and I had no tools to do the job... that's what a trans shop charges...

That's a fair price from a reputable shop..I think many on the board think just replace some clutch packs and be done... Thats not a rebuild..If its gone through correctly, its alot of efing work...
