hey...im a newbie and i was wondering how many psi is safe for a stock everything 1G talon...and if i do boost my psi...what else do i need to do in tuning? i dont even know if i can boost my psi without mods...can i ??? if i can ..whats the max...
 
ok so 14 psi...will i need tuning with that? and how do i hook up a electronic boost controller...ive never done anything in performance stuff...im new but very interested and ready to learn

http://www.dsmtuners.com/tech.php read that very usefull. Also vfaq.com. . Max safe on good running vehicle with a 14b with a re-wire is about 15-16. I would get a logger and go from there because when I got my car everyone told me the same thing. I got my boost gauge and logger first and anything past 12 psi I knocked and pinged. It was do to the vac line on the fpr came off. After I fixed it I was good to go to 15psi with no knock
 
boost is just a number with out basic mods, but if you want the power from more boost you need more fuel, bigger injectors, fuel pump, AFC, and preferably a fpr:dsm:
