how long is a bottle good for

i rarely use my NX kit and just want to know how long nitrous stays good for in a bottle or will it turn into gas over time?

As long as the bottle is closed off from the lines its ot going to go anywhere. if the bottle is OPEN then you will get some normal seepage from the nitrous lines and slowly (over a week) loose bottle pressure though.

I agree with the poster above. As long as the main valve is shut it's not going anywhere. It's very similar to a propane tank on a gas grill.
