Alberta,
So I was on my way home, and about 45 minutes into the trip, my oil light came on. I stopped and saw that the inside of my engine bay had oil all over, mostly on the driver side, and some on the ground. I saw this and realized an exti was a couple miles away, tried to get there and eventuall my motor stalled after about a mile and a half, wouldnt start again. My question is, could the motor have seized and be wrecked now? When I tried to start it, the car would crank, just not start. Oh and I know, dumb ass idea to drive it with no oil.

well number 1.. you shouldnt have drove it.. But atleast you werent stupid enough to go pushin it off the ramp on a major road like me ROFL i would say it's not the greatest sign.. You're probably gunna need a rebuild.. Happened to me before.. Thats what I needed..

oil is like blood man....no blood, no life. not to mention that all your oil was OUTSIDE your motor instead of in it. it got out somehow somewhere. thats your first sign that your engine is telling you it needs some SERIOUS attention. i hate to say but you are most likely gonna have to tear it down and rebuild. but maybe in some miraculous DSM miracle you just got one of your sensors (i.e. crank sensor, coil, igniter) soaked in oil that it isn't workin properly.

eliminate the obvious to get to the complex. good luck

take your driver wheel off and use a 1/2 inch extension and a prybar to try to hand crank it to see if its seized or not. make sure to take the spark plugs out and see how hard it is to move if you can even do it. also look inside the plug holes to see if its abnormal at all. good luck sounds bad though

What would a seized motor do? When I tried starting it, it would crank just not start. Kinda like if you were doing a compression test. Ill check the spark plugs. Also I noticed it died when I was slowing down. Doesnt sound good to me.
