ok, i have a T28 and i have a Greddy turbo timer and i drive on the interstate every day about 55 miles each way going anywhere from 70 to 80, im obviously not boosting at this speed but i wanted to know how long i need to let it run before i cut it off because the Greddy starts at 30 seconds and by the time i get where i am going it works its way up to 7 or 8 minutes....is this overkill or do i really need to let it run this long???

Thanks :dsm:

For normal highway, non boosted driving I give my car 30 seconds. When I am out working the car I give it 3 minutes.

Unless it's at the end of the quarter-mile, not at all. It has a water-cooled spool, which will continue to circulate whether the engine's running or not.
If you idle while you're getting your crap out of the car and putting up the dash shade, that's plenty.
