How long did it take to find your DSM?

I've been waiting for a decent DSM for about 2 months now. Decent in my terms would be relatively low mileage (under ~100km's) and 2g. Anyways I havent found any that fit under this criteria.

How long did it take ya'll to find your DSM?

It took me 1 day to find mine and then 1 day later it blew up. 10k dollars and 1 year later i still kick myself in the balls for buying it.

Do things right, and don't go cheap.. You wont have to kick your self!!

wasn't looking for a DSM just some sports car came cross my car went and looked at it and bought it the next day and thought I got ripped off then I started to find out I got a good deal

It took me 5 yrs to find another dsm ended up finding a 90 tsi with 90k unmolested for 1400..

Well after watching Fast and the Furious a kazillon times I decided to become a ricer. , J/K. My first dsm was a N/T eclipse that my girlfriend at the time bought. We were just crusing around and the dsm caught my eye. Now 7 dsm's later....I own 2.

Found mine on Ebay was originally looking for a Mustang gt Then I remembered I had rode in my friends gst and loved it . I then decided to get one. Took all but five min it was a no reserve auction with a 5,000 buy it now. Needless to say I hit the buy it now and had it delivered to my house. Had only 64,000 miles this was in June.

I wasn't really lookin for one. But I saw that there was one on my local forum for sale for $1500. It was a bit of a project. But it has relatively low chassis miles (125XXX when I got it. Now about 130k). And it had an engine with about 80k on in. I was on vacation when I saw it. Flew back home and went to look at it on a Saturday. Went to look at it again with my friend who knows a bit about DSMs on a Tuesday. And had it by Friday. Ended up paying $1200 for it. I recently stumbled across a '91 with a blown engine but in fairly better condition than mine. In the middle of swapping my engine and trans and other things into it.
