OK so i wrote a thread yesterday about my transmission moving when i press the clutch pedal.. Causing the transfer case or what looks like it to leak.. After inspection the bolt on the top of the tranny to the block snapped.. This isn't the first time it has happened to me. I have a act 2100 and a street lite flywheel, a OEM throw out bushing and a tre transmission with a 6-bolt engine when i had to do it over the first time i ordered OEM bolts and torqued them all to spec. I drove the car for 913 miles no problem. (this car has been a headache so yes i keep track of how long it last until it breaks down) Before i am going to tear off the tranny once again i want to know what the hell is going on here because nobody likes to repeat a tranny drop over and over. I got out my manual and look up specs to pedal height and free play. I had about 5 1/4 inch of height so i went and loosened the nut/switch and turned it as much as i could. I still only have about 6 1/4 of pedal height not 7 inch like the book says. Because these numbers are messed up do you think it plays apart with everything else? I adjusted free play to about 1/2 give or take. Do i need a new clutch pedal assembly? Would this be the cause of when i push the clutch pedal after a while my bolts are snapping. I just want this car to run alright without having to worry about getting stuck somewhere
I watched jacks video and i had it misadjusted would blocking off the bleeder screw create that much pressure to little by little push the tranny away from the motor?
