Ok I'm not new to DSM I also have a 03 eclipse but I just had bought a 95 gsx from a friend that was leaving country and needed to get rid of it. So I bought it, I knew he was throwing in a lot of dough on his built but did not get the chance to finish it due to a out of country move. Anyways the setup is this EVO 16G turbo with a greddy FMIC from the J pipe to the intercooler piping it has a little 90 degree elbow which is off center requiring me to ghetto rigg this awesome machine, does anybody have any clue of a fix?

i already have a 90 on there ghetto rigged but i have yet to purchase a boost guage so i dont know how much boost there is and also i dont have a wideband and yes I have driven it around the block to see if it will hold but what im getting is from 0-20mph is like 20sec and after that its okay i guess and my car is an automatic sorry..

Dont bump your threads, thats a good way to get a vacation.

Can you post a pic? that would help me understand what you are trying to say.

Thats what you are going to have to due, i took my old original flex licp and cut it. Then i used it to connect to my fmic. Granted mines an ssautochrome, but this sort of "custom" fabbing is not uncommon when it comes to fmic.

Do not try to boost that car without a boost gauge, period.

Sounds like a massive leak, but I cannot tell what you mean about your piping exactly. Please attach a pic if you have one, the button says Upload/Edit photos and it's further down the "Reply" page

i cant paste it when i copy it, it wont let me right click to paste and i dont have facebook or photobucket to link the pic with>>>??

Photobucket accounts are free. Its a great tool to share pictures on here. that is the only way I use pictures on here anyways.

and also you guys said cutting the pipe is an option that is commonly taken and if so how is a boost leak test done for a diy guy like me coz right now the eclipse is underconstruction on the tail light and other item i am smoking out and can this test be done at home

My greddy fit fine on a big16g, It would really help to see a pic.

You need to host the pic somewhere like photobucket or imageshack and then link it on here for us to see it, you ca not just paste it.

and also how can i set it up to where i dont have to post a reply to see a reply from you guys

ok i guess its not really gonna help you out i noticed i dont have the pic of the 90 on there just the j pipe i hope if you look at the j pipe you can tell the the piping on the fmic is going to be off centered it is about 150 am in georgia and its to dark to take a photo out there so if you can give me suggestions on things i should do as far as baby steps on the project it would help dont worry about the video for some reason i guess i highlighted it to so it loaded it on there...

I had an EvoIII 16g and was going to run it with a Greddy FMIC that I had in a box. My solution for piping was to use the Dejon "LIP-2gB" which take it from the outlet to the SMIC where the Greddy pipes can connect.

what happened to everyone that was posting on here about my issue??? did the link work??

Here and then click on "sidemount and IC pipes" under the 2nd generation section. Scroll down to it. It is made to take a 14b/16g/18g outlet and route it to a stock or Supra SMIC. This is where the Greddy U-pipe connects to where it then enters the hotside of the FMIC. So the Dejon pipe will end right where the Greddy pipe begins. Or, you could also use a RRE upgraded U-pipe and order the Dejon in a 2.25" so it fits the same size as the Greddy FMIC inlet (no reducer coupler on the FMIC)

thanks for the website now i have an idea on what to order this can probably help me fix the 90 problem i been having. Thanks
