I got a 1999 eclipse gs automatic. How do i change the rev limiter or take it off. And is there any way i can change my shift points in my transmission. I turboed the car and i need more rpms

They make an manual shift box that is suppose to bypass the tcu. Shift at the push of a button.

Roadsurge sells one and so does IPT. Big price difference. $175 to $529

RoadSurge.com

IPT Performance Transmissions Torque Converters and Transmission Parts for Ford, GM, Chrysler, and Import vehicles

Go down to electronics and click electro-matic manual controller.

You're going to have to check with the manufacturers on these, too. They probably won't work for N/Ts. Different engine, tranny, and electronics.

The TCU shift points aren't the same as the Rev Limiter though. Are you hitting fuel cut or are you just experiencing it shifting when you don't want it?

If you're doing your own EPROM programming, then you'll probably want to check out the dsm-ecu yahoo group.
