How do you remove the thermostat Housing?

I removed all bolts and hoses. It still won't come off. Is it stuck or is there a special way of getting it off? Thanks for any help

If you got all the bolts off....just pull.

what youve never run into a seized thing on youre 1g before?
, smack the thing with a hammer, gently tap it I mean

There should only be 2 bolts holding the thermostat in. After loosing them bolts out, take a flat-head screwdriver and pry it off, and if all else fails...Hammer time!

Yeah I just had to get mine housing off.

Rubber mallet works great.
