How do you adjust verticalness of the pop up headlights on a 1991 TSi AWD? I have looked all over for adjusting screws!

Must have been dark when you looked.
There is a phillips head adjuster on the top of each headlight assembly for adjusting the vertical. Just look for the round indent in the top of the plastic trim rings where it meets the bulb and the adjuster will be hiding down inside. The horizontal adjuster in on the outboard side of each bulb, just in case.
