I haven't had any issues yet but I wanna know now before the day comes where my battery is dead and not know what to do. Just wondering what needs to be done to charge one of these batteries. I know some batteries you can't just throw on a regular charger or it messes them up. So how about this one. Anyone know? Thanks.

A regular charger will charge it fine.
Are you sure about this? I have a 680 just sitting due to the lack of a charger. When I bought it, I was instructed as to how to charge it and have forgotten. IIRC, it was not "normal".

I believe it's recommended to use one of their "Smart Chargers" IE The"ODYSSEY® Ultimizer™ Chargers"

Thanks for the replies guys. I've had my car down for about a month and checked the battery and it was down to 11.7 volts. But I think I drained it a little one day, having a hard start after installing my 1450cc injectors. Anyway, I sent Nate over at MAP a pm since I did purchase it through them. Here's his reply if it helps.

I would seriously use a trickle charge setting with any reliable charger. There is nothing to be concerned by, but I would trickle it on low AMP just to be safe.

Personally i would contact Oddessy....

We bought my fiances dad a lucas replica AGM battery for his Midget this past summer and was instructed to charge it at 2amps steady with no more than 13.5 volts for no more than 2-4 hours at a time. It really depends on the manufacture but a lot of the AGM batteries are very picky about the charge they need.

I've had my pc680 for four years now without any issues. Its always been charged with low amps on a regular old charger so it clearly can't hurt it.
