its a 1991 eclipse gsx and i need to know how to tune it??? im new

view my car on my profile (info about it atleast i dont have pics)

first you have to figure out what you need to tune for. If your car is pretty much stock, which it seems to be, you really don't have the need to make any sort of adjustments. And please don't crank up the boost since you have a boost controller, your car won't be able to handle it.

+1 above
I would suggest reading the "Upgrade paths" on this site as well as RRE(roadraceengineering) and MachV for some beginner's insight. I would look into getting a compatible Palm pilot and cable for logging as well as make sure all your maintenance is up to date(fluids/ignition/tbelt,etc) There are some nice mods and maintenace articles on VFAQ.com as well. My first mods would be logger, tbe(turboback exhaust), intake pipe and filter(take off top intake can for cheap)

i wouldnt worry about tuning your car right now, invest in a data logger and just make sure your car is running 100%. then you could think about a piggyback tuner like an SAFC, the logger and the SAFC go hand in hand i wouldnt have one with out the other. once you get the tuner your gonna have to anaylize the data your car is logging for you and then go to the SAFC and change the fuel trims, air map and so on. do lots of research and reading on how to tune your car with these divices and learn to understand how the ecu works. its not that easy and it is easy to screw things up with the wrong settings. take your time and do some research.
