how do i test my 1997-1999 CAS?

i do i test my cam angle sensor on my 97 gst? im not getting fuel and i think this might be the culprit. also, i lost the 1 screw the bolts it to its housing. can i just put another metal screw in its place or is it a special screw because of that magnet?

No, CAS controls fuel injection timing and enables fuel pump. Both CAS and CPS control ignition timing.
