How do I do a leakdown test

I think my head gasket is leaking but need to make sure. I did a compression test and got good results 185-18-185-180 but want to make sure the gasket isnt leaking. Is there a write up or can someone explain how to do this leakdown test procedure. I did a search and came up short.

Excuse me, did you say 18??? You've got things worse than a head gasket if your #2 is only reading 18.

i think he ment 180, i woudlnt worry about much with those numbers, i sure hope i get numbers like that when i do my test.

Shouldn't you do this while the motor has just been turned off and is still warm?

What are acceptable values of leakdown on a hot/cold motor? Is there a relationship b/w leakdown and compression i.e. x% leakdown = y psi drop?
