Painted some of my interior and nowi want to paint my vents to match. Do i need to remove the entire door to get vents off or can i jsut snap them off or something. I see when i turn the vent there is a little balck peice of plastic and a hole in the center, is this part of it? Sorry i know its dumb ? but i dont feel like taking off entire door panels again to paint a vent.

Door cover must be removed as those black pannels the vents are part of are screwed with metal strapping to the back of the door cover.

Becareful you get all the screws though, there are a few that are behind other peices.

If you don't get all of them, you might end up breaking on of the connectors.

:)

yeah and make sure you put all the screws back in the right places....i put a couple of mine in the wrong places...one being on the freakin vent and it wouldnt screw back in..well it went back in but when i went to tighten it it shot right back at me...so be aware of where your taking the screws from and such
