how do i take off the front emblem...

... on a 1997 eclipse? i wanna put on a chrome badge there or leave it black, but im not sure which yet. is there a way to get it off without breaking it? i wanna take it off and put it somewhere inside my car, so i dont wanna break it. i also dont wanna mess up my finish. thanks.

u'd have to go under the bumper and i think there are 2-3 studs comin out the emblem that u'll need to push out from behind, also maybe try some adhesive remover, drip it into the crack between the emblem and the bumper to loosen it homefully, jus dont blame me if u break it. its at ur own risk

wait, there are studs behind it? i thought it was just a sticker thing! hmm... do you know this first hand or are you guessing?

There's no studs on them, it's just a sticker. Try spraying WD-40 on it then try to gently remove it.
