1G how do i remove ignition?

I'm trying to take the entire ignition off my parts car for mine and never done it. Do you have to cut it to get it off the colum?

You need to insert the key to remove it. If you dont have a key it is near impossible without destroying it. Youd have to drill out the lock catch. Ive done it before but its a pain and the ignition was not reusable.

I need to remove the entire thing not just the cylinder. My ignition was broken from the steering column.

The bolts are likely breakaway style. You can cut a notch in them to get the nut off or you have to cut the bolts.its designed not to come off.
