How do I raise the height of my 99 GST?

I have a completely stock '99 Eclipse GST and want to raise the car 2-5 inches. I sometimes check out performance rally courses (at lower speeds) which are dirt and rocky forest logging roads and am getting tired of denting up my oilpan. I don't want to convert it to a pro rally car since it is still my street drive to work car (and my only car) - just raise it a bit - yet still be able to keep the alignment correct. Any suggestions?

That's just one of the oddest things I've read on here LOL. Anyway buy yourself an AWD first of all then try to raise it a little, not sure that it needs it too much though

first of all he said he wasnt going pure rally second there are plenty of gst that rally and they win and if they dont win there right on the winners ass. prolly need some coilovers and get spacers for it to raise the height.

please dear god, give me your car, and you can take my 95 tsi, your killing one of the last pure dreams of heaven!
LOL
but for real, get an awd it would be so much more fun! and yes this is deffinetely the oddest post i have seen

As I have already said, I am not interested in pro rallying this car. This is my everyday and TSD rally car but I sometimes CHECK OUT national and club pro rallies. The checkout is not at rally speed (I can go as slow as I want) but does go down all the course which often is rough, rutty, and has rocks. So I need more height with my present car. Thanx for the consideration but no, I'm not going to get an AWD just for checkouts. Maybe someday for competing (I have already competed many years in various other cars). My question is how do I raise THIS car for the purpose stated (and still drive it everyday on normal streets with correct wheel alignment) - not what other car I should have (but thanx for trying).

Actually, im suprised that I don't see more AWD eclipses doing rally..

Just loose as much weight as possible, and jack the suspension up. Should be a decent car for it....

Anyone know the lightest anyone has gotten a DSM eclipse/talon?
