I am shipping my car overseas and i am trying to get the car raised more than the stock height is because of my stillen front bumper. It needs to be 6 inches off the ground and stock height wont cut it. Well , i was looking at a set of Tein coilovers but under the specs it didnt say you could raise it past stock or not. Thats what im ultimately getting...but what about a cheap As@ skunk 2 coilovers would be able to raise higher than stock levels? Thanks for any inputs?

Im pretty sure the stillen hangs down lower but again have never measured its clearance from the ground at stock ride height. I just know its way too low right now and all i have is an eibach pro-kit on there.1.5" drop. I really want the tein set on there but wanted to know if you can even set those at the stock height.I thought the specs said something like -.9" drop to 4" or something, which is lower than stock to begin with. Im also undecided on what Tein setup to get. I want the best of everything on this car and maybe someday it will see some autocross. If not autocross,it will see a lot of winding roads in Italy.Im starting to think the Teins' at the highest setting will be enough to clear 6" of the stillen front.I just dont know what setup to go with. Thanks for the input.

Bumper off or just jack the car up and put on some spring isolators which will jack your prokits way up in the air.

I have never heard of spring isolators. The bumper has to stay on and the whole car has to be in tact when i take it to the port. Give me some more info on spring isolators and what kind of an install does that require? Removing the springs and all that? I really like the Tein setup and was just figuring if im messing with suspension to upgrade it. But that does set me back with getting more stuff for the engine. So who sells these spring isolators? Thanks
