how do i make my awd talon lighter

how do I make my awd talon lighter with out spending to much money iwant to lighten it up a lot because I was racing my dad in his 93 rx7 with 320 whp and I have about 400 whp and he beat me the only thing is that we did go from a start so i didn't get to launch it. I think I would beat him if I launched it, but I still want to beat from rolling start.

you aren't that much heavier than a 3rd gen rx7 dude..i'd give you maybe 200lbs.

i know ~3100lbs is heavy in contrast to the honda's and stuff people face, but generally speaking its a light car. mustang gt's, ls1's, the 03 cobra, normal vettes are all in that range, or heavier than our awd's and they seem to be doing just fine.
