Most likely one of the wheel sensors has gone bad or it's wire is broken (their tiny wires break easily when moved around). Did you remove the sensor recently? How did you check them? A visual check does nothing unless you can locate a broken wire (which it most likely is). Otherwise you will have to measure output voltage at the ABS-ECU connector as described in the Mitsu manual section 35.

Well, I only took them out and cleaned them with a brush and they looked ok...But how do I know what sensor is bad??? I heard that the dealer have some kind of computer that I could put the car on and see what sensor is bad...anyone know anything about that??

Yes the dealer has a special tool (MB991219) to connect to the ABS-ECU connector. He then can measure the voltage of each sensor with a voltmeter (70mV or more) or an oscilloscope (200mV p-p). I'm sure he will also charge you quite a bit (but call and ask). If you're a little ambitious and have an analog voltmeter capable of measuring 70mV, you can PM me and I'll send you a picture right out of the Mitsu manual on how to do it yourself.

+1 on a WSS.

If you have been driving in the snow (as in playing around a bit) or if your tires come up with a to large of a variance in speed then the ABS light sometimes will sometimes come on. But once the ABS runs the check again, it will see that the problem/s have been resolved. I'm unsure of how the roots of the 2G's are to give any type of pin point answer.
