Im looking to clean up my engine bay while the engine's at the shop. Im wondering how can I remove the cruise control in my 90 eclipse gsx. Any help would be great and ideas to clean the engine bay up would be awesome

well on my car (89 camry) all i had to do was disconnect the cable from the throttle body butterfly and then thread the cable through the premade hole in my firewall. then i just took the cruise control arm off my steering column and that was that.

I did it.
Just unplug everything related to the curise control on the engine bay. all the cruise wires has to come out. and leave the plugs aside.
What I did was:
Find a DSM 1.8L N/A Manual (I don't know about any phisical difference between manual and Auto.) I got told by another local dsmtuner that has to be 1.8 L, because they rarely have cruise control.

and hook it up as it should go.
It works great for me i was tired of my sticky and hard GAS pedal.

More info please, PM.
