3m makes a few products specifically to bond to these style bumpers. I would go to your local parts store that sells auto paint products and talk to the paint guys.
On-line Product Catalog: 3M? Automix? Plastic and Bumper Repair After you get it glued together you will them have to sand it down and paint it.

I don't think zip ties are too bad I did it to mine until I can replace it.

a new bumper is the best option.
If you put bondo or fiberglass it will crack again eventually. I am very sure everyone including me have hit their front bumper with a sidewalk

I'm not really looking for a quick fix, i'm looking for an actual cosmetic fix. Like to the untrained eye, they couldn't tell the difference.

What we are telling you is that the only to fix it will nearly as much, if not more than an ebay/certifit bumper cover and paint.

You'll need a polyurethane bonding agent that will "glue" the sides together. Then you will need a similar filler that will need to be sanded down and filled and sanded down some more until its smooth. Then you will need primer and paint. Now, depending how good/knowledgable at painting (assuming not very since you haven't the slightest on how to fix this) you are you'd have to fade it. Or just sand and repaint the whole cover.

As stated above, go to a local paint and body work store and ask the guys what all you need. Im not sure of the names but I just used these products this past winter. Im almost positive its made by 3m..

honestly i would put some duct tape on the back of the crack.. push it as far as you can together and put some body filler on it and let it fill the crack. once it hardens try to pull the tape off and sand it and paint that portion yourself or get spot job at a paint shop

Body filler like bondo would just crack again in a very short period of time. You need stuff made for plastic. 3m makes the stuff your supposed to use for plastic bumper repair.

No, Ignore all of these idiots. Use a smalgrinder with a 36 grit sand paper wheel on it and v out the crack atleast 1" back, and strip the pain back at least 1 more inch. you should end up with a 4" wide bare spot. Then get the correct 2 part bumper repair resin from an autobody supply house. Ductape the back side of the crack and fill it in. When dry do the same to the back side. (vee it out and apply resin) Keep in mind you will want to hold the bumper in its correct shape while your glueing it back together. Once the crack is repaired you can progress with normal paint and body procedures.

A new bumper cover would be easier, but the quailty on them usually sucks. They don't fit well or hold paint good.

You can either grove it out and weld it. Or you can use a epoxy made to repair bumpers grove it and fill the front side and the apply a mesh reinforcement on the back and apply the epoxy over that.

What about stich it up with zip ties then, cover up the repair with a body repair kit like bondo. Make it a smooth transition and it won't look repaired, won't crack etc.
