No it's ok because if anyone dispustes a time that person will have to show a screen shot and since it saves all the rankings that shouldn't be a problem

I guess but someone could claim they have no camera to do that with...

and since there is 6 ppl on each team shouldn't first place be 12 points instead of 10?

Yes I think he was going off the original plan when it was 5 on 5.

Yup, that's now it will be. That's why I want you guys to take pics if you can, but it's not required. And don't worry, I won't cheat. It's not like we're winning anything anyway. It's just for fun.

I realize you guys are all underway, but here are some thoughts/suggestions for the next time you do it...

Over on Honda-Tech, they're doing a competition like this with the Integra Type R (all years, USDM and JDM spec). But what they're doing is running the laps in arcade mode, so you can't modify the car. And everyone posts screen shots, it shows the HP and weight (and tire choice) of the car so would be able to see if someone had modded something.

They aren't doing a "season" per say, they just picked a track and everybody's trying to post the best lap time, they're allowing you to run more than one lap so you can have a rolling start through the gates. There's a site that shows the top 10 or so lap times. Eventually they'll move on to another track, perhaps another car.

Please no Honda bashing, it's just some things you could implement to make sure everybody's being honest.

You really need to read the thread more...

Because if someone from the other team knew what the other had he would play till he beat it. Its a mind game now, you get the best time you can get and then 'hope' its the fastest time. Makes you try harder on your own to now what your own limitations are.
