How about some competition?

Ok, I have decided. First time through what we are doing is basically what he just said. Either the EVO VIII GSR or the STI (not c spec). Only mods allowed are tires. The two teams (first come first serve on which team you are on) will compete for points. 10 drivers (unless we don't have enough sign up. in that case, the last few to sign up for the team with the most will be sent to the other team). You get as many laps as you want, but only your best lap counts. Must do it solo (so that you can't draft off other cars). You will have one week to do it, unless everyone get's theres in before then. If you don't make the time limit, you automatically get zero points. Points are awarded based on fastest lap. First place get's 10 points, second get's 9 points, third get's 8 points, etc. These points are then totalled up and a winning team will be crowned.

And I will be playing as well. I will verify my time for everyone with a screen shot. If you guys can do that as well it would be helpful, but I trust you so I won't make in mandatory. My email is [email protected] When you send the email, put in the subject "DSMtuners GT4" DO NOT post your time's on here. This will give everyone else an advantage because they will know what times to shoot for.

Team EVO
1. Torque
2. eclipsegsx1736
3. IHeartTurbo
4.
5.

Team Subie
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

After this one, we can start throwing new rules and regulations. Let's keep it simple the first time to make it go as smoothly as possible.

Haven't decided yet. We gotta do more than one track tho. How about 5? Nurburgring, Seattle, Motorland, El Capitan, and Laguna Seca. Think everyone can do those all in one week or should we do a different track every week?

So the ONLY mod allowed is tires? Can it be any tires? I'm glad we're doing it this way, it should be fun. I think the track should be El Capitan, Nurburgring, Seattle Circuit, Fuji Speedway 90's, and Tahiti Maze. When will this competition start?

I's like to get in but I don't have a subbie.
What are the courses that we will be running. And what mods are we allowed, JUST tires. Can it be racing tires? What about oil changes, we know thats good for 15hp on some cars.

I'll go in on team subie.

I don't know that I have the time to get my best on 5 tracks in one week.

Any tires you want. Yes oil changes are allowed.

If we are only doing 5 tracks I don't think a week a track is bad.

Did we decide on the exact cars yet?

So what tracks have we decided on.
Also, I think most of us should atleast be able to do two tracks a week. That way we aren't waiting for 5weeks to see who the overall winner is.
My opinion for tracks
Auto Ring Mini, something short and technical, this cars will do really good on this course.
Tsukaba, this is the track Option mag tests these cars at, thats a quick fun track IMO
Nurburgring obviously, a real tough track
Grand Valley (full course). Lets bring back the original Gran Turismo
Laguna Seca, a true American track

I would be able to do 2 Tracks a week but then we would have to have more like 6 tracks just so it's even.

No hard feelings okay? :thumb:

I also think we should have some kind of dirt or snow track since afterall we are using car made famous by rally. ROFL

I think a rally would be good.

I'm voting with going with 1 track a week.

I would be down with 2 tracks but like mentioned before I think that we should do 5 tracks becuase Nuhmeberg is an extremelly long course and that will take a long time to put in a perfect lap.

Or we could have 7 tracks to fit in more rallies.

I think we should do a American Course like Infienon or Laugana Saca

European course like Cota Da Azura or something like that

A dirt and snow rally

Japan course

Nuhemburg

and what else you guys want to do.

I really butchered the courses names I know.
