So I just got DSMLink installed with PTE 780s, 255 walbro, AFPR, small 16g, 2G mas, FMIC and pipes with stock BOV recirced, 3" TBE, O2 dump.

The car just runs like ****. It will make boost but will not make power and it wants to fall on it's face. It has a really rough idle, but it does idle. At idle the AEM WBO2 is off the scale lean. When giving throttle and making boost it will go off the scale rich. At first I had like 10 counts of knock but that went away for some reason and now I'm only logging like 2. Now it just wants to stumble and fall on it's face and won't even hit like 12psi or rev to save it's life. I noticed timing at WOT is at like 32 degrees, is that right? Thanks guys, first time Link user here and just trying to get things going. Also the car takes for ever to crank over and start. Like 10 seconds no joke. Thing I jumped like 3 teeth? Guess I should have checked haha

Did you do any work before it started running like shi? Also check your basics, and mechanical timing.

32* is way to advanced for wot.

Use the dsmlink.com/forums they are very helpful, and most of the people using the forums are very helpful

My timing at WOT is 15 degrees, Fix the ignition timing 1st. Have you done a Boost leak test to look for leaks? What does your vacuum sit at idle?

what are the settings of your fuel? Global setting, and Deadtime?

What was the AFR number on the AEM? The LEDs around the edge might have been at the far end of the scale, but you should still have an actual number.

Also, if you jumped three teeth on the t-belt, look forward to fixing some bent valves. If not, make sure all the timing marks line up correctly, set your base timing to 5 BTDC (ground the proper connectors to toss it into timing set mode first!) and then give it a shot. Also, boost leak test.

Long cranking will happen with a Walbro and an Aeromotive. Takes me a few tries to get started first thing in the morning. I'm planning to put a check valve in-line between the fuel rail input and the fuel filter, as apparently the Walbro doesn't have an integral one like the stock Denso did... potentially allowing the fuel to all 'back out' of the lines. Meaning you have a LOT of fuel to pump, a LOT of vapor to clear, and completely before you'll be ready to start the car.

Also, might want to update your car profile with the new parts.

What connectors do you ground to put it in TIMING MODE?
