i took my talon for the first drive today and it was making a horrible noise. my rear right hub had to studs break off when i was removing the old wheel i hammered them out and thought they would just fall out the back it was a clanking noise. and yes i drove it with only three studs in the rear just very slowly around the block though do you think the studs are rubbing on the brake disc and thats what the sound is

Depending on the position of the missing wheel studs, something in your wheel assembly is scraping. I don't think it's the studs and brake disk though.

The brake rotor is mounted on the studs, the wheel is mounted on top of the brake rotor. It's possible that it's unbalanced from the missing studs. Do you think it's the brake pad that is rubbing on the rotor?

pull the wheel and brake assembly if theres something rubbing it will be evident what it is oh and you might as well put 2 new studs in it while its apart
