hood pin placement 1g

So I searched and all I came up with was 2g placement, I need some info on a good location on a 1g no flip lights. I was thinking 9 and a half inches up 7 over does that sound right. That's next to where headlight mount to radiator support thank you for any info

um i just measured mines myself and drilled it custom i guess. Mines are like 3 inches up from the front of the hood ( not from the window but from where you stand over ) and in between the distance of the two headlights on the hood and goes down onto the metal in front of the radiator, and mines dont have pop up head light either. if this helps any>?

I ended up putting um where the rubber stops are on the bottem of hood seemed like a nice place But thank you for your info
