after swapping pin 2 and 14 to use a 92 ecu it ran fine but the tach didnt work under boost. so i figured i would try to use better wire and better splices. after re-splicing the wires it wouldnt stay running and it wont drive down the road. was i not suppose to splice? could i have fried something from connecting the wires wrong??

Well I already cut and spliced the wires to the ECU and the first time I did it wrong so I ended up splicing 4 wires. Then I used different wire and connected two wires wrong and drove it.

I think I fried something because after I found what I hooked up wrong it did the same thing after I fixed it. And my DSM guy just told me he thinks I could have messed up the ECU.

All the wires are good now but I messed up and cut pins 7 and 23 then I connected them backwards and that's when it wouldn't run and I found pins 7 and 23 backwards. After correcting them the same thing happens as it did before correcting them.
