Hood alarm switch wires??

I'm sure you guys seen it, it's this little wire harness that comes out from behind the drivers headlight.

It's a three way thing that comes in to play.

One connects to the top of the ac evaporator, the other grounds to the drivers fender, and the other one is stripped off at the ends.


The wires that are stripped are black and blue/black.


If I got the term wrong (evaporator), I'm talking about that little silver can with a pointed bottom and a electrical connector on top.

The wires that are stripped are now confirmed as:

black with white dashes & blue/black with white dashes

It's not a continous dash, more like a...

They go to the hood switch (for theft alarm) which is right next to the hood prop open rod end.

Crazy..thanks alot! I no longer have the switch but the wires are there. Guess I'll just tape em up.
