Calgary,
My question is, for people with HX35s... How could I rig up an O2 housing mounted external gate with it, and would it work? A friend of mine with an HX35 on a turbo dodge could only get his down to about 19psi with porting the internal wg passage, which is no good since my motor will only stand for about 10. An external wastegate mounted O2-style might fix the problem, but if the passage is what limits the internal gate rather then the flapper, I will still get boost creep.

My way of testing to see if this will work or not is, if someone could be so kind, just disconnect the actuator arm on your internal wastegate and let me know how much boost you get. It should still make some, but hopefully not much more then 5 or 6psi.

Are you using the HX35 turbine housing or the Bullseye housing? Most people just run the Bullseye housing and don't have much trouble running low boost.
