if they are o great why i hear so manny storys about them going bad so quick and there is no pro using them in their cars?

BTW, post all the failures you've seen! These turbos are tough, flexable, AND high flowing. I've seen worse than a 'dsm' beat better than a 'dsm'. And go for 80K.

How do you define efficiency? Think before you type please. . . be prepared.

Ok, stop all that chitter chatter... I just got my car running again...
I know i have a BIG housing but damn... top end is AMAZING! I start building boost at 3900. Thats on a 2.0 without any major modification. (this is until i trow in the built 6 bolt).
I have to say i didnt think i was going to start spooling this 22 cm housing till 6k +.
Yes, it is a little laggy but i know something that will solve that problem.
I believe im going to go a setup like this when i get the 6 bolt in.

For all those people running huge t4 divided turbine housings with divided manifolds this will make you jelous!

It blocks off one half of the volute effectively halving the a/r or cm^2 of the hotside. Makes it spool faster, then opens as boost comes up to prevent loss of topend power. I'm guessing that is what you are asking. LOL

anyone know where i might be able to find a turbine housing for the turbo with a smaller A/R?
Its at 22cm^2. Im looking for anything below a 18cm^2 thats t4 divided.

I have a BRAND NEW TH that came with the hx35. The only thing is I don't know the size of it...

If your using an hx-35 look into an hy-35 hot side, I beleive they're a 9cm housing. :thumb:

He is running an H1E.

If I remember correctly the HX35 and HY35 the hotsides can't be swapped. At least without extensive machine work. The HY attatches with a V band, where the HX series uses bolts. If someone could figure out how to swap it would open up a lot of options for us.
