I know in some engines they exist and benefit weight savings, fuel economy, better oil lubrication(if oil holes are present). Does anyone make hollow cams for our engines? Has anyone thought of hollowing out a set of cams?

I've never heard of these used on our cars. None of the major cam manufacturers make such a thing for the 420A either, but I suppose you can have anything custom made.
