Hole in exhaust pipe...what would you do?

Hey guys, recently after noticing my exhaust became a lot louder and annoying, i came to see theres a big hole in the pipe that leads to the muffler. I want a new exhaust, but i dont know whether to order an aftermarket one or a stock one and replace it, because i don't want to spend too much money. What would you guys do in my position?

Midas or anyother muffler show can make you a catback exhaust for cheap. Unless you want to spend close to 600 for an aftermarket big brand exhast.

i had that problem before. just go to a muffler shop and tell them to patch the hole. wont be expensive either since all they do is get a sheet metal and weld it on there to cover the hole.

Or you can ghetto rig it and get a patch kit at a local auto store for like $5. It'll hold you over for awhile..I had to do this with my Talon..Until it got so bad the pipe literally fell off and I took it home with the pipe dragging on the cement..yeah it was sooo much fun.

Cut the section out and replace it with an adapter from advance auto that is designed to slip over both ends of your stock piping. (might takes some playing around with)
