I was wondering how bad is it for the car when you hold the gas down when you shift??? i only do it while racing to give it a little extra. Should i not do it??? and im not sure if its call double clutching or what?? well thanks

Thats called No Lift To Shift. It puts more stress on the clutch disk as the engine is reving higher and has to "catch" the clutch disk when you engage the clutch.

I believe DSMLink has a NLTS feature where it puts a lower rev limiter when you are shifting so you can keep your foot on the gas pedal and keep your turbo spooled up when you are shifting.
