So I purchased the HKS type 0 9th edition push start turbo timer, along with the HKS PNP harness made for our car. When I got the harness, I noticed that the plugs didn’t match up. I started researching and that’s when I noticed this turbo timer is for push to start vehicles. I decided to take a risk and cut the pig tails off the control unit and attempted to make my own harness. I cut the tail off of the HKS PNP harness and soldered the red, green, and blue wires to the control unit. I soldered on an extension to the control unit to make a ground. Also soldered on an extension for the grey wire (handbrake signal) I hooked everything up, the display unit has power, but will not begin countdown. Has anyone here ran this timer before? Im really hoping for some help, in hopes that I didn’t just waste $180 LOL. TIA

Update: After dicking around with this for a few hours, I still had no luck to get the timer to begin countdown. Should I cut & solder all the unused wires and ground them out?
